A Quick look at EFS 15-85mm Lens from canon. Maybe I should have mentioned all this in the video but you can read it here: @sadiqalmo I have had this lens for a week now and have taken around 700 pictures and I just looked through my pictures to answer your question. * I don't see any chromatic aberration, there are a few shots in low light (with very slow shutter speeds) that seem to be chromatic aberration but i think it may have more to do with camera shake. * There is definite distortion at 15mm. I wouldn't call it large, and its hard to notice unless you take a picture of something straight and it shows up a bit curvy. Distortion is most easily noticeable when you pan horizontally. But then again, its a zoom lens so its hard to not have distortion. Final word on distortion: its not a lot and it doesn't bother me personally. * Vignetting is only a problem when zoomed in. Most of my shots that are zoomed in don't have vignetting but some do. Its most noticeable when taking picture something with same color in a large part of the frame (like a blue sky). I would recommend it, and the reason i got this over the 17-40 F/4L, 17-55 F/2.8 or 24-105f4/L is because i wanted something that can do wide angle and decent telephoto (on a crop frame body). At the first purchase the camera you see a lot of lenses, the IS or VR designations on them. This is image stabilization or vibration reduction. They mean the same thing except Canon uses the first term Nikon uses the second. These mechanisms are built into the camera in order to "avoid camera shake." I will discuss how to get rid of camera shake and why I bought a VR lens for me.

What is camera shake?

If you have your camera in yourTo make your hands and look through the viewfinder to your photo, your body makes small movements. This is a natural thing, like your body is always correct itself and move the muscles to help maintain balance. However, they caused slight movements of the camera.
